A long time ago, at least 10 years ago, one summer evening, a parade happened in Avalanche. It was probably not on the 4th of July, but there were flags, and for a little while, our dog, You Honey, 2 clowns, a whistle, a tin horn, and a mysterious stick-legged figure.
