The New Black

Very dark, very warm gray on the walls.  I'm working toward the stairs today.  This is good, so far.
Something else good, Annie Larson's feature yesterday on Urban Outfitters' blog.

How funny when I said I would see yellows next to the grey ... and there they are! It looks wonderful. It will really highlight your textiles beautifully.

Thank you all for your valued opinions. I want to testify to the magic of paint. The dark room feels like a sleek, new machine. Yellow is great in here, and just about any color, or black and white works.

I hope to show new textiles and sundries in this space, a new installation every season. It's keeping me awake nights

Isn't it amazing how our environment can have such a big impact on us! Can't wait to see your new creations/installations! Kudos to Annie -- (And to Urban Outfitters for buying her line.)

Annie has her ducks in a row, and a lot of imagination to back them up! She works hard, and she's making her mark

Gloria, I think we're all more sensitive to what's around us than we may be aware of

The grey is quite bold but calm - very stunning!
I also like the contrast of yellow with the grey and I don't normally like yellow for paintwork.
