we're not out of the woods yet rag and yarn panels, in Rosepath. When I have woven enough of them I plan to sew them, cushion covers, and a deerskin bottomed sack, probably a back pack. My fascination with thready, raggedy weaves isn't wearing off. I hope I never find my way out of this woods. (On a walk up the road today, I practiced a little skipping, which felt pretty good).

Love these. -Sue
I can't wait to see what you do with these beautiful pieces! I'm also having those rough, worn love affairs in my work that I hope doesn't end either!
Hello Susan!
I really admire your work, especialy how the nature surrounding you is reflected in your weaving. Thanks for your inspiration!

Thank you all for your interest!
Velma, yes, skipping is very possible, but after the rain today there were worms all over the road....yuck.
Your work hits me emotionally... making me feel both calm and centered, as well as making my heart beat faster... that's really saying something. I hope you never find your way out of this most wonderful woods either! (No wonder you skip... I would too, if I produced with work like this!)
Victoria. Thanks. I'm really just wandering around, enjoying the little things that suddenly come to light.
I suspect you're wandering around in this same woods, from what I see when I look at your work. I bet we've crossed paths more than a few times. What you make of your experience makes my heart beat faster, too, and my eyes open a little wider
