Mrs. V says she planted them years ago, and the trees are now so tall that she has to pull the branches down and hold them while I cut the stems. They're French pussy willows, she said, I'm sure of that.
Thank you for always sharing your beautiful work.... even though I don't have my loom up and running yet, your blog constantly reminds me how much I can't wait to pick up the shuttles again one day.

LOVE the idea of using the spools of yarn as vases! Now I just need some dried flowers to decorate!
A feast of color and texture, the weaving, the pussy willows, the spools -all against the slate colored backdrop. So dramatic and beautiful!
amazingly beautiful colours!
Vibrant, wonderful.
Gorgeous, gorgeous work and styling!
thank you!
Serioulsy lovely--way too early for the pussy willows!
I, too, love your cone/vases! The whole tableau is terrific! Thanks for brightening my day.
beautiful! What color is that wall? Looks a lot like a wall in our house in Benjamin Moore Mysterious...
Heidi, Sherwin Williams, Knight's Armor, I think. It's nearly black. I wanted something like blackboard paint.
I'm infatuated with the color

Jesse,
I hope you do! If you're having lucid weaving ideas, then make them happen.
