Little darling, it's been a long, cold lonely winter.
Our weavers met on Asbury Ridge on a warm-at-long-last day. The snow was the consistency of a sno-cone, and good women cast handmade snowballs at each others heads! Beautiful songs were sung. We hiked down to see a new little sauna by a pond (smiles returning to our faces).

Helga, It was a warm and happy day
the lyrics of one of the songs we sang.....
"Oh what a life, what a wonderful life, what a wonderful life this is" so true
Such a "here comes the sun" kinda day
Regarding the photos and the weaving
(I especially appreciate the berries and the orange/rusty weft intricacies)
As always, your photos are remarkable, each separately and together. I so appreciate your aesthetic! The second photo is totally surreal. All of them, beautiful! Happy taste of spring. . . :)
Judith, a special kind of day, and so enjoyable seeing your long textile again.
Gloria, thank you for hanging in there with me. I do appreciate your point of view. I do get a little buzz in my eye when I see something I should photograph. Some of the time I think, really? Why this? This familiar intersection suddenly looked so strange
Yes, what Judith said - the woody gray and rusty reds of the little tree and the photo of the weaving caught me. I missed out on songs??! Glad you shared the pictures of the gathering.
