no fooling

Finished!  Now I'm on my bike, singing, all the way up to Bloomingdale!  Soon enough I'll come back to my bare workshop, empty looms, and start in again.

There was an old man named Michael Finnegan
He grew whiskers on his chin again
They fell out and then grew in again
Poor Old Michael Finnegan
Begin Again!

Thanks, Dawn. Beau travail, I like that. But my studio is so empty now, where to start?

Charlotte, thank you. I've never accumulated such a stack before this.

What I would give to come and get some weaving lessons from you! My poor loom sits with a half done reed, waiting on my decision......
What a beautiful stack of fiber!

Patrice, oh, thank you. It reminds me of croissant pastry. There are lots of hours of weaving in that pile

Tracey, I don't like to hear you've stopped. I am a bad teacher, sadly. Pairing your weave with your pots was such a good idea. I wish that inspiration would reignite your imagination. You are so creative. I also think you are a good writer, and would love to read your stories

I wanted to reach into the picture and hang them all up so I could see them. I know they are lovely.

Any chance any of these might make their way to your Etsy shop?

Susan said...

Hilary, thank you. I hope they are. I tried, for sure.

Gloria, thank you, too. You are always so encouraging

Leigh, thanks. I'm so pleased

Katie, No. These will be at Elizabeth Eakins May Open House, in Norwalk, CT. Now I'm weaving for my etsy shop again, and my empty store shelves

such sweet and heavenly feeling, nothing like admiring a stack of fabric created with your own hands. Well done!
