Making the Most of Life

Here is Sofia, one of my two talented daughters, making her animal parades in my workshop this summer. I sell her silk screened images on little shirts and pillows in my store. She is an art student, and her work has been attracting attention, which makes me proud. If others are going to mention her in their blogs, then why shouldn't her own mother? Note to young mothers: being a mother keeps on getting better.

I worked on my rug warp again today, and also made this little churro wool felt clasp purse. The purse was wet felted around a stone I pocketed from Lake Superior's north shore last summer.

Curious as to where you went on the North Shore? Enjoying your blog...keep writing and weaving.
