Waste Not, Want Not

vintage cotton, handsewn wallet

with corduroy zip pocket + card pockets + currency pocket

mixed patterns

an old adage, a new tag, a new theme
As usual,  I most consistently recycle my old ideas. The Hard Times idea is one that just won't go away.  So,  I put a fresh bobbin in my sewing machine, and a new needle, and cut out some new wallets.  Some feature mattress ticking pockets to stuff your cash into.

Oh, mama! I LOVE the fabric on the outside of this wallet! and the new tags, and of course WASTE NOT, WANT NOT. best wedding advice at my wedding shower for sure!

I do, too. As for the wedding advice, it wasn't all that relevant. I'm not very good at games like that-- it was just the first advice that came to mind. The way you kids often named our cats, the first word that came into your head: "Fdental Floss," and "Shoulders"

Love these, Susan! That first fabric is so vibrant, I just want to hold it all the time, to insure happiness :)

Brittany, It's an old piece of cotton chintz, but I love the design. It's loose, but reminds me of Josef Frank

I love those wallets and they stand up to a lot of in and out of the pocket!

I'm always so curious to see what they will look like after wear and use have shaped them. I think they look better
