so far, so good

New silk and stainless, and linen and stainless yarns in the store from Habu.  Pink!

My then small girls on another January morning, skating on the driveway, frozen over with an inch of ice.

Beautiful color block rug from Danish HAY fascinates me.  What does color mean?

Also, a wonderful surprise--a new Reiko Sudo circle design for NUNO, scarf in overtwist wool.  I'll take that with cream.

It doesn't seem like the morning to rant about gun violence, but if it were up to me, I'd take away the guns.

66Maybe not today, but whenever you want to rant, count me in! Love the ice pictures, we once had an ice storm in Milwaukee and we went without electricity for 10 days, the kids loved it-they skated on everything!

great pics, together they form a modern poem and what a beautiful song

Barb, Saskia,
thanks. I think it's important to talk about what I'm afraid of as much as what I think is beautiful. We know we can imagine something different, and we can try to do something together

I love the Pink Habu! It's beautiful! Where did you find that color? I love your blog, it's a visual treat...

Kieran, it's silk covered stainless yarn, very fine, and a soft silk tsumugi. I bought it to sell here in my store. The color is gorgeous. anyone interested can email me for colors and prices. susan@avalanchelooms.com
