button, button

The perfect thing to do today is to sew buttons to cards.  Glass, shell, plastic, jet, all old, from a jar I bought last week.   The colors are good, transparent, opaque, murky, bright, worn, faded.  The card has a picture of the hydrangea bunches that Stephanie and Gail grew, and brought me last summer.

This looks like way more fun than digging potatoes!
Much prettier too.

hahaha. Maybe, but it's about the same feeling. I was also planning warps for 3 looms, and writing down numbers, and sticking papers to looms. Serious thinking business....

what a lovely idea - much cuter than my buttons tossed into a bowl.

Alex, I like to keep my buttons in tea cups and little bowls too--easier to sort through

Sofie, you ARE a button

Cheryl, a great way to procrastinate!

I love how each card is like a little collage of color and texture and shape. What an awesome idea for business cards!
