White and Black

Today it is clear blue skies, a cool north wind, and dry weather.   I'm looking at rosepath rag and yarn  samples, again, and planning a new black and white warp.  Also, I came home from my favorite fabric shop, Gayfeather, in Madison,  with a yard of a vintage print Liberty Cotton, and several yards of black-and-white check cotton/linen fabric.  Black coffee in my Moomin mug.  Happily, I'm feeling like my old self again.

ha, Barb. I should stay away from people in July and August! Coffee is my personality

Just found you via Flickr and happy to see your pics. This vintage fabric is so beautiful, the rug is, too.
And coffee? Nothing happen here without a strong coffee in the morning.

Nauli,
Thanks for reading my coffee powered blog!

Welcome back to your old self - good riddance to that heat for now. So true -- nothing but a headache happens without coffee.

I chipped the mug I got last time I saw you, with the black coffee in it, today. I overfilled the dish drainer, I had the premonition that it would happen...

but I'm not sad, since it will look nice with red flowers in it.

Sometimes you just know something is about to break.
Red flowers? Nasturtiums?
