fire and ice

Robert Frost is such a good name for a winter poet.

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Robert Frost

vibeke,
thank you. I like the poem because it seems not to take the end of the world too seriously. And I love the elements of fire and ice

by heck susan, you've gotta lotta snow there! love the photo of the cat in the snow! I had a gorgeous marmalade boy years ago who loved playing in the snow. He'd tap, tap, tap snowballs between his front paws. Very cute! Stay warm!
