Fish are jumpin and the cotton is high

And one of my girls, Sofie, is still home for one more week.

FYI:  Ray and Kelly Siler are usually wedding photographers extraordinaire, but they visited me one rainy afternoon,  a few weeks ago, and made a portfolio of beautiful pictures here at the workshop.   It's part of their project about artists and other creative people living and working in the Driftless region of SW Wisconsin. I'm delighted to have been included, and also had a wonderful time with them while they were here.  There are so many talented people living in these hills now, especially Raymond and Kelly Siler Look!

Thanks for taking the time to look. They are such a sweet couple, and their pictures are lovely. I felt that they truly showed a typical day in my work life. I also think I could pay a little more attention to my fashion!

Those photos are gorgeous! Your studio looks like such a lovely, inspiring place to be. I never realized you were from Detroit. My husband and I are having the same dreams of moving away, into the country. Hoping we can make it happen soon!

I see you are making good progress on the weaving sample book! I hope to see you soon, I think I'm coming to look at a house in La Farge.

Kristin,
It was such a surprise to meet you in person. My friends online can seem like imaginary friends, very real to me, but invisible to others. Ha, ha. I'm pleased to say you are not in the least imaginary, and it was such fun for me to meet you.

Susan

also, thanks for the beautiful post on your blog.
