Knotting pairs of threads across my linen warp, I use a double ended knitting needle to pick up the pairs, which saves a lot of time. The weather inside is cool, and downstairs I keep a light on over the loom. Outside is warm, and balmy. It rained hard in the middle of the night. The ferns bend over the creek bank, and the new growth on the pine trees is so soft. It feels like California out there, and no, I am not knotting knots every minute of the day.
